This is the planning stage where the song’s foundation is set. The team decides on the structure, maps out how the 5 vocalists will sing together, and arranges each instrument’s role. Sounds for guitar, bass, drums, and synth are chosen, and rough demos are made to experiment with melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. The band rehearses to ensure everyone is comfortable with their parts and the song’s flow.
In this stage, the track starts taking shape. Rough guide tracks are recorded to guide timing and feel, instrument tones are refined, and synth and guitar sounds are sculpted to match the song’s mood. Transitions between sections are polished, and arrangements are adjusted so each vocalist and instrument has the right moments to stand out, enhancing the story of how the members met.

Now the song is captured in full. Drums and bass are typically recorded first to establish the groove, followed by guitar and synth layers. Each of the 5 vocalists records their parts, including harmonies and overlapping lines, with multiple takes to capture the best performance. Timing, emotion, and clarity are prioritized so the story comes through strongly.

This is the polishing stage. All tracks are edited to select the best takes, correct timing or pitch issues, and remove noise. Mixing balances levels, EQ, compression, panning, and effects so instruments and vocals blend well but remain clear. Finally, mastering gives the song its final polish, making it sound cohesive, professional, and ready for release or streaming.
